They're here. All around ... everybody knows the big names. The Jordan's, the Zidane's and stuff. Not me. I went for Kukoc in Basketball and in football a player of Southampton named Matt Le Tissier. He was british not french. When there were outstanding players and teams in the premier league, one guy was playing in a minor team and making amazing things every sunday afternoon. Some of these goals i saw them live on TV and they're part of my 32 years life memory. I'll leave just one goal for you to enjoy. You may google for him or check him out on youtube ..and you'll discover that the fans had a special name for him: Le God.
Ladies and Gentleman ... Matt Le Tissier.

I'm one of these blessed souls that feel good just being. I'm able to sit down and just wonder on my mind, helped by a book or a computer with internet. I may start my wonderings on a website with eels recipes and end watching a Documentary on central america terrorism. Passing through Windows Mobile 2003, Sting-Ray watching, illegal russian based software, all sorts of sports and so on ... i could go on!
I'll leave a few of the websites i check daily for a daily dose of world shared with you.

International Herald Tribune - for news
Record - for Benfica
PPCWarez - for PDA software
9down - for PC software
Shareminer - Searching for Files
Momondo - for Travel Info
Rapidfind - For downloading files

These are mine, along with the classics like hotmail ( a few dozen times a day) or my own blog to check old posts ... Please leave here the ones you check more often. The internet is big.
The following is a part of the journey in the making. In it, i disclose the place of the photo on my last post. It's in Yemen and the island is called Socotra. There was someone saying they did know where it was, but has they didn't came forward with any hard facts I'm in a bit of a doubt.
First Egypt, a must-see in any Round the World Trip, afterwards to less fashionable destinations like Yemen and Oman, splashing it out on Dubai and arriving for one of the highlights of my Journey: Visit my very first friend on the Internet in Karachi. The year was 94 perhaps? writing the day and night away on some chit-chat program named ICQ (it still exists). It quickly evolved from a few meaningful lines on a computer screen to a solid all around caring and love relationship. We both went to college at the same time and i remember how i phoned her every other day to wake her up on those chilly Chicago winter's. It has been a story of up's and down's mainly because I've been a chicken and a handful of times i didn't kept my promises. I changed my life because of what i learned from this girl. She still is very important to me. I plan to visit her and if for some reason she's not able to receive me, I'll just leave a present on her doorstep. World here i come.

Caminhadas eternas rumo a Fátima. Carne (?) no Mário Alturas. Tiro aos Pratos. Igor, Cesaltina e Rabaça.

Podia continuar eternamente.

1000 desculpas.
Just returned from my Adriatic eXperience. Before starting to flood Blogger servers with a stupid amount of photos of this road trip let me propose the following reading for this "back to School" time. To better understand the Balkan issue i headed on to the first decent bookshop i found in Croatia (The Death of Yugoslavia, BBC) , it was in Split, I got the next book in Dubrovnik (The Fall of Yugoslavia, Mish Glenny). These were those books.

I haven't found these ones for free on the internet, but i did find the one I'm leaving the link here. You can download it in PDF format from Rapidshare. This is semi-legal :)

Happy reading and see you in a couple of hours/days for some photos and general stuff about the place I've been to this Summer.
